Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Stratford, East London – Brand New Commercial Premises

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineers to join a fantastic new build premises in Stratford, East London. As one of two, Mechanical Bias Maintenance Engineers, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of this premier facility during your assigned shift. You will play a vital role in minimizing downtime and maximizing M&E plant productivity throughout this stand-out building in Stratford.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to identify and resolve any equipment or system malfunctions.
  • Perform preventive and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of machinery, systems, and equipment across Electrical, Mechanical and HVAC on plant such as AHU’s, FCU’s, Pumps, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Generators, LV Power, Water Treatment to name a few..
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or emergencies to minimize production interruptions.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to coordinate repair and maintenance activities.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Salary & Package:

  • £45,000.00 – £47,000.00 Per Annum +Overtime OTE £60K
  • Monday to Friday
  • Option of Either: Early Pattern of 6am till 13:00 or Late Pattern of 13:00 till 22:00
  • Overtime Available at x1.5 / x2.0

  • City & Guilds OR NVQ in Mechanical OR Plumbing
  • Competent building maintenance knowledge
  • Demonstrate strong communication and people skills
